Suggested Activities:

• Book of the Week:
- While looking at the book, have the child find the parts mentioned on his/her own body.
- Point to a picture in the book and have the child name it. 

• Thank You, God, for Making Me Preschool Bible Story Activities & Coloring Sheets:
- Crafts:
    "Thank You, God, for Making Me" Book:  On a piece of construction paper, attach a picture of the child.  Add the title "God Made _____" with the child's name.

   "Thank You, God, for Making Me" Book:  Cut out the Me Poster, and place on a piece of construction paper.  Add yarn hair, facial features, clothes, etc to the silhouette.  Add the child's name.
Boy and Girl Puzzle   "Thank You, God, for Making Me" Book:  Print the Boy and Girl Puzzle printable.  Cut each out and into four pieces.  Give the child the puzzle pieces and have her form the boy and girl.  Glue to a piece of construction paper and color. 

    Have the child lay on a large piece of paper.  Draw around the child.  Add a face.  Glue on hair using yarn.  Lay clothes on the silhouette or draw on the clothes.  Ask the child to point to different parts of his/her body on the silhouette.

• Square Activities:
- Use pretzel sticks and mini marshmallows to make squares.  Poke the ends of the pretzels into the marshmallows to hold the pretzels together.
- Fat Square - Print two Square Posters.  Color and cut out.  Staple 3/4 of the way around and stuff with paper towels.  Staple the rest of the way.     
- Sing the Square Song.

• Color Activities:
- Shine a flashlight on purple and blue objects around the house.  Depending on the development of the child, it may be best to do a single color at a time.

• Number:
Using the Apple Tree Number Book, point and count the apples on the tree.  Continue to point and count items you find throughout the day.

Thanksgiving Ideas from ABCJLM

• Fine Motor Skill:
Play with Play Dough.  Make "snakes" and balls.  Add in safe kitchen utensils and cookie cutters.  If possible, use purple and blue play dough.

• Gross Motor Skill:
Log roll on the ground or down a hill outside.
