• David and Goliath Preschool Bible Story Activities & Color Sheets:
- Coloring Sheets - Phil 4:13, Sling, David, David and Goliath   
- Paint five small stones
- Make a sling and shot paper rocks 
- Measure butcher block or wrapping paper 9 feet long.  Have the child lay down on the paper and compare his/her size to Goliath's

• Make sure your child does not add a vowel to the end of /k/ such as /kuh/
• When saying the /k/ sound – have your child put a hand up to his/her mouth to feel the air movement

Calendar Activity - Here is an activity that would be a great start to each day to reinforce numbers, days of the week, and months of the year. 

• Lay pieces of paper on the floor with numbers 0-7 on them, with a large “stone” made from crumbled-up paper or newspaper, have your child throw the “stone” like David and then tell you the number the stone hit. 

• Play Alphabet and/or Number Memory.  Write each letter or number twice on an index card.  Cut the index cards in half for perfect Memory cards.

• Fine Motor Skills: 
Write various letters or numbers on pieces of paper.  Have your child trace over the letter or number with fingerpaint.

• Gross Motor Skills: 
March around the room as you sing your favorite song or Nursery Rhyme.  You can even play homemade drums, sticks, maracas, etc. while marching.
