• Book of the Week Ideas:
Wash is a "w" word
This story is a lesson in cause and effect.  Discuss how one choice lead to another.
Discuss the pretend and real parts of this story.

• Pattern – Make various patterns with legos.  Have you child tell you the pattern.  Switch and have your child make a tower and you tell them the pattern.

• Pattern – Using playing cards, create patterns
Skipbo or Uno – make a pattern with the numbers or colors
Dutch Blitz – boy/girl pattern
Regular Deck of Cards – Queen/King pattern

• Snack time:  Make a Cheerio/Raisin Pattern

• Put the few magnetic letters (a-w) or numbers (0-9) into a bag or basket.  Have you child draw out one and tell you the name/sound.

• Fine Motor Skills:
Pattern - Create AB pattern with Fruit Loops on a string to create an edible necklace

• Gross Motor Skills:
Balloon Fun - catch it, keep it afloat, bat it with both hands clasped together in one large "fist", bounce and catch the ball - always use both hands together
