Use the Kick Worksheet to show the similarities between the letters. Be sure to say the Letter Formation Chant as the child creates each character.

- Show how an "R" is made by making a "P" and then "kicking out"

• Write Numbers (0-14)
Using 1 1/2" tracing paper have your child write their numbers (0-14). Use yellow lines and green and red dots as a guide on numbers that are still a struggle.

• Write Phone Number and Address
Using 1 1/2" tracing paper have your child write their phone number and address. Use yellow lines and green and red dots as a guide on numbers that are still a struggle. Depending on the ability of your child, work on small sections at a time if needed.

Collection of ABCJLM Easter Ideas

• My Color Books - My Purple Book - View suggestions...

• Place approx 20 pieces of Easter candy in a see-through container – Have your child estimate how many pieces there are. Discuss what estimating means. Count to see how close they were.

• Jesus is Always with Me
Have the child choose five things in the room to bring to you. Place the items in a small area on the floor and place a small blanket over the items.
Ask the child:
- Can the objects be seen?
- Are the objects still there even though they can't be seen?
- How do you know that the objects are still there?
Remove the blanket. Tell the child: "Just like our memory verse says, 'When I am afraid, I will trust in you' because Jesus is always with us even though we can't see Him."

With the objects gathered, turn this activity into a memory game. Without the child watching, remove one object. Have the child figure out which object is missing. For greater difficulty, remove more than one object or add similar items.
