ABC Jesus Loves Me

After hearing several of my friends express their praise for the LeapFrog Fridge Phonics® Magnetic Set, we got a set. I have to add my praise as well. My children place letters in the base several times a day and sing along.

If you are unfamiliar with this set - when a letter is placed into the base, the tune of "The Farmer in the Dell" is sung stating the letter and the phonetic sound or sounds the letter makes. Using this as a cue, I have taken each letter and made a rhyme that coordinates with a Bible story.

Unlike in the LeapFrog set, only the "short" vowel sounds are taught along with the "hard" consonant sounds. These rhymes can easily be sung "over" the LeapFrog set. The LeapFrog Fridge Phonics Lowercase Letters Expansion Pack is available for purchase.

Sing each rhyme to the tune of "Farmer in the Dell" and may also be sung with the LeapFrog Magnetic Set.
