 Ten Little Fish

- Count and point to the fish as you read the book.

- Using the Fish Bowl , create a fish bowl and ten fish.  Using sticky tack, place ten fish in the bowl.  As you read the book, remove the fish.

- Eat Goldfish while reading the book.  Count out 10 goldfish.  Count as you take away one at a time.-   Fish Colors Mix N Match Peg Puzzle  - This is a great puzzle to add to this activity or use as you read the book. (Thank you Sarah for sharing this idea.)

- Bubble Aquarium
Make a bubble mixture in a bowl using one of these recipes:  #1.  Make a paste by mixing 1 T powered tempera paint and 1 T water.  Add 3 T of water, plus 1 T liquid detergent. #2.  Mix 1T of liquid detergent, 4T of water, and 1t. food coloring.

Place a straw in the bowl of bubble mixture asking the child to blow up a mound of bubbles.  Next lay a piece of paper over the bubbles.  As the bubbles attach to the paper, they form a beautiful design.  Repeat until the paper is filled with bubble prints.  Let dry.

Glue real or paper sea objects adding some fish stickers to the bubble print.  Smear glue at the bottom of the picture, sprinkle sand and shake off the excess.
