Use a brown paper bag or packing paper to create a simple scroll craft giving the child a visual for the Bible story.

From the center of the paper plate, cut eight equal triangles to the ribbed part of the plate. Cut more or less depending on the diameter of the child's head. Decorate the plate. Fold the triangles up. Discuss the importance of reading and learning the Bible.
Crowns can also be created by stapling together wide pieces of cardstock.

Play Hide-and-Seek looking for the scroll craft or a Bible. Whenever the scroll or Bible is found, sing "The B-I-B-L-E" song (above).

Unroll fruit roll-ups from the plastic. Roll the ends like a scroll. Eat for a Bible snack.
Play a movement game where the adult leads and the child follows commands carefully. Use it to discuss how Josiah obeyed God’s Word.
